About PricingLaws

PricingLaws is the U.S. personalized pricing law hub: an independent reference on federal and state rules for setting prices with consumer data, maintained and funded by Klary.

Last verified Oct 6, 2026 · Not legal advice

What the Site Covers

Federal and state laws, bills and enforcement on setting prices with consumer data: disclosure rules, surveillance pricing bans, profiling opt-outs and related antitrust rules on shared pricing algorithms. A bill is added once it passes at least one chamber or draws enforcement attention.

Verification Process

  1. Based on primary legal sources.
  2. Law-firm and press summaries are used to find developments, never as the only source for a fact.
  3. Every law page shows the date it was last verified and lists its sources.
  4. Source conflicts are identified on the page, with the official record taking precedence.
  5. Changes are logged in Updates within 48 hours of a signing, effective date or enforcement action.
